Austin Alumni Stella Adams Memorial Scholarship
Mrs. Stella Adams was a teacher at Austin for 27 years. Her dedication to Austin and its students made her a favorite teacher. She cared about her students and always encouraged them to strive to achieve their best. She had a lot of school pride and was always willing to participate in spirit days. Mrs. Adams was one of the founding members of the Austin Alumni Association. Even though she did not graduate from Austin, she was as much a part of this school as any student who attended classes here. She was awarded Who’s Who in Education and twice was selected as Teacher of the Year by Austin Faculty. The Austin Alumni Association is proud to provide four $1,000 scholarships in memory of Mrs. Stella Adams this year.
The funds for the Stella Adams Memorial Scholarship is made possible by the members of the Alumni Association and by generous donations.
The Alumni Association would like to thank Dolores Angerstein, Lourdes Tapia, Joe Vinny, the Class of 1966, and the Class of 1976 for their 2018 contributions.
