Scholarships for Excellence
Please read ALL instructions:
Fill out and submit this application in its entirety by 11:59 p.m., May 2, 2025.
ALL applicants will need to report to the Go Center on May 5 to type an additional short response.
Session 1 will begin at 3:00 p.m.; Session 2 will begin at 4:15 p.m. You are invited to either session, provided your last period teacher allows it.
Finalists will be notified by email on or before May 8. Finalists will interview the following week starting at 3:00 p.m. on May 12 .
GPA and Class Rank must be updated as of March 2025. These values will be verified with the school registrar.
SAT score must be entered as per the College Board results page. For help with this, you can contact your assigned counselor. Scores will also be verified with them.
This application contains one mandatory essay. The second essay is only required from student athletes wishing to be considered for the Katherine Aguilar Memorial Scholarship. The third essay is for students wishing to be considered for the Daniel Morales RN Memorial Scholarship.
AI generated essays will NOT be accepted and will void your entire application.

You will need to contact the registrar (room 105) to receive a copy of your transcript. You may have him email an official transcript to scholarshipsforexcellence@gmail.com.

If you are interested in applying for a specific scholarship, please follow these additional scholarship requirements to remain eligible:

Katherine Victoria Aguilar Memorial Scholarship is for athletes who answer the additional essay question about sports

Daniel Jason Morales Memorial Scholarship is for UTEP bound students who answer the additional essay question about success AND submit two letters of recommendation from teachers. They must also be a verified member of an organization at school and be able to submit a minimum of 10 verifiable hours of community service.
By May 8, I will contact you via email to schedule an interview with the Alumni Association. Interviews are scheduled in person on May 12 between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
